剧情简介
雅典娜（萝斯·莱斯利 Rose Leslie 饰）是一位年轻的舞者，来自单亲家庭。她在洛杉矶为了舞蹈事业努力奋斗，但却一直没有取得顺利的进展。然而，当她得知父亲杰克（雷·利奥塔 Ray Liotta 饰）患上癌症时，她决定义无反顾地回到佛罗里达照顾父亲和她年幼的妹妹。然而，雅典娜很快发现她的生活并不如她所想象的那样。杰克是一个自私、任性又挑剔的人，给雅典娜带来了巨大的心理压力。父女之间的关系逐渐恶化。正当雅典娜面临选择父亲和事业之间时，她收到教练的消息，得知她被选中参加一场重要演出。
